Our Story

Maluka began in 2004 as a dream of three “sisters”. The name MALUKA is a combination of our names... MA for Marcy, LU for Lulu and KA for Kari… We were lucky to share a very hip, fashion forward grandmother. Our love for fashion started when we were all old enough to raid our gram's closet full of custom made clothes from all over the world! She had dresses, jackets and accessories even Jackie O would have been jealous of.
The three of us have different styles and talents that make Maluka as great as it is. Kari is fast and edgy, Marcy is safe and comfortable and Lulu is artistic and an accessories expert. The combination makes Maluka a real shopping adventure!
The store opened its doors in 2006 and it became the go to fashion place in suburbia for all urban transplants. We do our very best to remain cutting edge and to find the newest and most talented designers. We hand pick the best pieces from each collection every season and only put collections in the store and on the website that we believe in. So when you shop at Maluka you are getting the best of what the industry has to offer!
